Project Overview
LabourLink is an on-demand services marketplace based in Pune that connects customers with verified blue-collar workers for home services such as housekeeping and maid services. Customers can book a worker instantly or schedule a job for later, track the worker’s arrival, and pay securely inside the app.
The platform has three parts: a Customer App for booking and payments, a Worker (Partner) App for receiving jobs and tracking earnings, and a web-based Admin Panel for verifying workers, monitoring live jobs and managing payouts.
Raaya Consultancy and Services designed and developed the Flutter mobile apps, the admin panel, Razorpay payments and the worker wallet with bank payouts, and carried out full QA before launch.

Challenges
- Instant and Scheduled Bookings Together
Challenge: Workers could be offered new jobs that overlapped with bookings they had already accepted, leading to missed or late jobs.
Solution: Job-matching logic was built to filter out any opportunity that conflicts with a worker’s accepted schedule, while non-conflicting jobs keep flowing normally. - Trust at the Doorstep
Challenge: Customers need confidence that the right worker has arrived before work starts.
Solution: Work can only start after the customer shares an OTP with the worker, while cancellation stays available at every stage with a confirmation popup and a required reason. - Fair Cancellation Policy
Challenge: The business needed cancellation rules that are fair to both customers and workers, with different rules for instant and scheduled jobs.
Solution: Time-based cancellation rules were implemented for each booking type, with fees calculated automatically and shown clearly before the customer confirms. - Worker Payouts
Challenge: Workers needed a simple, reliable way to see earnings and receive money in their bank accounts.
Solution: A worker wallet was built on top of Razorpay payments, with bank payouts and a clear earnings history in both the worker app and the admin panel. - An Admin Panel That’s Easy to Use
Challenge: The original admin panel was hard for the operations team to understand at a glance.
Solution: The panel was redesigned with grouped navigation, colour-coded status chips, ID-card style worker cards and helpful empty states, so the team can spot pending verifications and live jobs instantly.

Planning & MVP Scope

- Built the customer and worker apps in Flutter for Android
- Built the admin panel as a Flutter web app on Firebase

- Turned client feedback into a prioritised issue list with clear acceptance criteria
- Refined job matching, cancellation rules and the partner app flow

- Static code analysis of the production app
- 57 automated test cases and 73 manual feature test cases
